An Anti-Racism Examen, designed by the Association of Jesuit Colleges and Universities (AJCU) in collaboration with colleagues across member institutions. The Examination of Consciousness — or Examen — a practice used by Jesuits and their colleagues to help us to make choices and act in ways that better the world.

The Anti-Racism Examen focuses on matters of race and racism that are specific to us and our institution.  “Racism is a soul sickness. Racism is that interior disease: that warping of the human spirit that enables us to create communities where some matter and some do not. We must begin by looking at racism because racism is our most central justice challenge.â€Â
