Relay For Life is the signature fundraising event of the American Cancer Society. We honor survivors, remember those who we have lost, and fight back against a disease that has taken too much. Over the past nine years, Relay For Life of Boston College has raised over a million dollars for a cure.
The American Cancer Society (ACS) describes Relay For Life as a "movement dedicated to helping communities attack cancer. Through funds donated, time given, or awareness raised, communities are teaming up - virtually or in person - to make a difference. When we rally together in the fight against cancer, we can accomplish anything."
Since 2008, Ï㽶Ðã Relay For Life has been a student-led effort to bring the Ï㽶Ðã community together in support of ACS's Relay For Life mission. Over the years, thousands of students, as well as faculty and staff, have participated in the 12 hour event, and close to two million dollars have been raised.  It is a night to honor survivors, and to remember those we have lost to cancer. It is a night of celebration and reflection; laughter and tears; encouragement and education. It is a night for us all to be together with the goal of ending cancer forever. Join us!
