Ashly Scheufele is an assistant professor of the practice in the Business Law and Society Department at the Carroll School of Management at Boston College. She teaches business law and international business law courses to undergraduate students. Prior to teaching, Professor Scheufele worked for 15 years as a business litigator at Boston-based firms, where she handled complex commercial contract disputes, shareholder actions for breaches of fiduciary duties, consumer protection claims, and government investigations. A significant portion of her law practice was dedicated to resolving international business disputes, and she advocated on behalf of clients from all over the world.
Scheufele served as a pro bono attorney with Kids In Need of Defense (KIND) to provide legal representation to unaccompanied minor clients in immigration court and related proceedings. In addition to being admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, she is a mediator and has provided regular pro bono mediation services in West Roxbury District Court.
