Welcome to the Work Intervention Network (WIN)
  Â
As an integrated team of psychology, sociology, and career professionals, we believe that there is an inextricable connection between work and mental health. For individuals facing long-term unemployment, the mental health impacts can be taxing. For this reason, the Work Intervention Network (WIN) team has sought to combine the resources of existing career agencies with evidence-based practices from social science research to create a series of workshops to support individuals who are unemployed, underemployed, or experiencing career exploration challenges. The WIN team provides research, training, and development for interested practitioners across the globe who are working with clients facing work dislocations and disruptions.
“Rather than passively observing the eroding work experience in America, I advocate that we all commit to creating the conditions in which our natural human striving to create, contribute, and collaborate is nurtured and affirmed: To engage in work that is decent and dignified is in our DNA, and it is central to our well-being and the welfare of our communities."”
