ÌýÌýÌýÌýIn this moment of national unrest and outrage, let us heed our Jesuit university’s clarion call to be ever more attentive, reflective and loving. Let these core values of Jesuit formation guide us in our discernment of how to move forward as a citizen of a world too often scathed by the sin of racism. Let these exercises of the Spirit illuminate a pathway to travel amidst our sorrow and mistrust, amidst our divisions and anger. And from this good but difficult work, let us draw courage to press on until we reach that holy point where hearts and minds are made anew, transformed in the image of an enduring justice and a lasting hope.
Ìý Ìý The following are resources – many from a faith-based perspective – our colleagues have found helpful in better understanding racial injustice in the United States. By no means exhaustive, the list recognizes that each of us comes into this conversation at different entry points. We hope something on the list may deepen your own understanding of justice and help in reaching that holy point where hearts and minds are made anew.

Reflections on Being Connected

Despite our distances, we are reminded of the ways we are connected – to the people, places, and moments we love. Campus Ministry invites you to reflect on these connections with gratitude and, as you're comfortable, share them with us so we can share them with others. During this time of distance it is important to remember that God is with us, God is within us, and to connect with one another by sharing these experiences.
