Boston College continues to mourn the tragic loss of Johnny and Matthew Gaudreau. The inseparable brothers, and
one-time Ļć½¶Šć hockey teammates, were struck by a car while
bicycling in August. Their deaths have led to an outpouring
of grief throughout the Boston College community.ĢżJerry York, who coached the Gaudreaus at Ļć½¶Šć, said he was ā€œdevastated and heartbroken by the newsā€¦. They were not only great hockey players but two outstanding young men."

At their funeral, Johnnyā€™s widow Meredith attested to the bond between the two brothers. ā€œThe fact that youā€™re now together in heaven gives me a little bit of comfort,ā€ she said.
