About the Club
Boston College Club Running, formerly WeRunÏ㽶Ðã, was established in 2015 and became a club team in 2018. As members of the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA), athletes can race against other colleges' club teams as well as participate in local races, such as the Welles Remy Crowther Red Bandana 5k, Cambridge Half, and even the Boston Marathon. Roster decisions are made in at the beginning of the fall semester, and, following, practices are held six times a week and races typically twice a month. Boston College Club Running is dedicated to the Campus Recreation commitment of cura personalis, and will continuously seek to develop leadership skills and a spirit of camaraderie among our members.
Club Achievements
2023: Women's NIRCA Northeast Regional XC Champions; Men's 4th in the Northeast
2022: Women's and Men's 3rd place teams at NIRCA XC Regionals; Women's XC 11th in the nation at NIRCA Nationals
2021: Women 9th in the nation at NIRCA Nationals
2019: Women's 2nd place team and Men's 4th place at NIRCA XC Regionals
2018: Women's 1st place team at NIRCA XC Regionals, Women's 7th in the nation at NIRCA Nationals
Individual Accomplishments: 4 Female All-Americans at NIRCA XC Nationals, 2 female individual NIRCA XC Regional Champions, over 10 Boston Marathon time qualifiers
