Indoor Spaces
The Library
Off the foyer is the elegant Library with shelves filled with many books from the Dane family’s library. The room showcasesÌýoriginal hand-crafted artistry such as matchbook paneling of Circassian walnut paneling,Ìýhigh Moorish arcading along the ceiling, and period-style furnishings. It is an ideal space for small receptions, cocktail hours, and ceremonies.
The Great Hall
In The Great Hall, a carved double staircase descends to a large room with oak-paneled walls set below a beamed and gilt ceiling, jutting stone casement windows, and teak flooring. Doors open to a gorgeous Gardens. Adding to the grandeur, the room hosts a fireplace and the pipes of an organ (the rest of which was donated in 1956 after a fire devestated Eliot Church in Newton Center).

The Foyer
The grand entrance to the estate, the Foyer is perfect for pre-Âfunction cocktails and event registration. Guests will admire theÌýmassive rustic granite and polished red marble fireplace, dark oak paneling, high ceilings, and carved gilt detail.Ìý The original paired French doors leadÌýout onto the adjacent terrace overlooking the beautiful grounds and the pond.

The Gardens
The Gardens is enhanced by spectacular rhododendron hedges. The sweeping lawn is well suited to large outdoor gatherings and is a beautiful location for a tented event.
