Student Faith Organizations

For Student Faith organizations, please refer to the guidelines below before making a request. After reviewing the information, fill out the form(s) that pertain to your specific request. For further questions regarding your organization please contactÌýRev'd James HairstonÌý´Ç°ùÌýShannon Murphy.

Students may not sign any contracts for any type of service, venue, or program. All contracts must be submitted to Rev'd James HairstonÌýfor approval and signing.

If you are planning an event that will take you off-campus, please schedule a planning session with Rev'd James HairstonÌýto begin your process (finding a retreat space, collecting retreat registrations and fees, etc).

For room reservations, please fill out theÌýÌýIf you plan on having an event with food and set up needs, please submit your reuqest eight (8) weeks prior to your event.Ìý

If you will be collecting a fee for an event or retreat, please submit anÌý.

Reimbursements

To request reimbursement for a student organization-related expense, please download and complete anÌýExpense ReportÌýin Excel. Be sure to attach the list of attendees and both the credit card receipt and itemized receipt(s), then submit everything to Rev Hairston.

If you have not previously filled out a direct deposit form with Boston College, please complete theÌý. This can only be done after you are set up in the system.

Paying Someone

If you need to pay a non-Ï㽶Ðã individual who performs a service (e.g. a speaker or a musician),Ìýplease download anÌýHonorarium FormÌýin Excel. Submit the completed form to Rev Hairston.

If you are working with someone who has not done business with Ï㽶Ðã in the past, they must submit a completedÌýÌýform online prior to being paid.

Paying a Company

If you have worked with a business or organization, and need to pay the vendors' invoice(s), please download theÌýVoucher FormÌýin Excel.ÌýSubmit the completed form to Rev Hairston.

If you are working with an organization that has not done business with Ï㽶Ðã in the past, they must submit a completedÌýÌýform online prior to being paid.

If your group is collecting money from members and would like to make a deposit, please download and complete aÌýDeposit FormÌýin Excel. Be sure to select your program in the chart string field. Then submit the payment(s) and Deposit Form to Rev Hairston.

In order to receive support from University Mission and Ministry, we need to have an accurate representation of student organizations. To help us achieve this, each member must sign up with each group they participate with. Here's how:

  • Find your group(s) on this page and click the blue hyperlinked name
  • Click the Register button
  • Sign in with your Ï㽶Ðã credentials
  • You're all set for the year; thank you!

Each student organization is welcome to have its own Campus Ministry-hosted website (view theÌýlist of Student Faith Organizations websites).

If you have updates or edits for your group's page at any point throughout the year, please submit a request through theÌýÌýwith details about the changes you would like made. Please include pictures, with photo credits, if possible. Edits are made within two business days.
