Opened in 2007, the Brighton Dance Studios (BDS) are a dance facility dedicated serving student dance troupes, performance clubs and other dance-related organizations overseen by the Division of Student Affairs. Located at 2115 Commonwealth Avenue on Boston College’s Brighton Campus, the Brighton Dance Studios are less than a ten-minute walk from the Robsham Theater Arts Center.
Dedicated to providing a safe, suitable space for students to train in the art of dance and movement, the Brighton Dance Studios are composed of three rooms; the largest of which is a basketball court-sized dance space equipped with mirrors, a sound system, ballet barres and a coat room.
The Brighton Dance Studios also support Boston College’s Theatre Department, hosting academic dance classes, dance rehearsals and movement-related programs. If you have any questions about the Brighton Dance Studios, including how to reserve the space, where it is on campus/how to get there, please see the link to the Venue Information Packet (VIP) listed below. If you would prefer this PDF as an emailed text or have any other questions, please notify us at rtac.operations@bc.edu and we will be happy to help. Thank you.
