Over the past five years, more than 170 Ï㽶Ðã Law students and alumni have secured clerkships at both the federal and state levels.ÌýOur graduates work closely with judges—researching, drafting memoranda, and providing critical assistance determining cases.
The Clerkship Committee, with CSO Senior Associate Director Chris Teague, leads our clerkship placement efforts. Professor Daniel Coquillette currently works with federal judges across the U.S. as Senior Advisor to the Committee on Rules of Practice and Procedure for the Judicial Conference, the federal courts’ national policy-making body. He previously served as clerk to Supreme Court Chief Justice Warren E. Burger.
In addition to one-on-one clerkship counseling, our Career Services Office offers a comprehensive training series with five annual clerkship programs.Ìý
