I am an assistant professor of the practice of mathematics at Boston College’s new Messina College. In fall 2024, I will be teaching Functions and Differential Calculus I and Principles of Statistics for Life and Social Sciences.Ìý
I earned my PhD from Brandeis University in 2024, advised by Ruth Charney. My research area is geometric group theory, and I primarily study Artin groups. In particular I am interested in the nonpositive curvature of the Deligne and Artin complexes, and questions about parabolic subgroups of Artin groups.Ìý
