Otis has more than 15 years of leadership and program management experience and will oversee KeyBank’s broad community engagement strategy. Otis, a dedicated diversity, equity, and inclusion leader, has won several awards for her work within the communities she has served, including the 2016 “40 Under 40 Latino Rising Stars” award given by the Hispanic Coalition of New York.
, environmental engineer and Morgan Stanley’s plastic waste resolution senior researcher, commented in the company's blog about and the path to possible solutions. "We need a bigger-picture, systems approach to change, based on green chemistry and green engineering principles, two concepts that my research uses," says Jambeck. "Alternative materials are part of the solution, but so is preventing waste in the first place."
has appointed to the newly created role of (CSO) at Wells Fargo & Company, underscoring the bank’s commitment to enterprise sustainability, addressing climate change, and increasing focus on environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters. In her new role, Luhning is responsible for leading progress against the company’s enterprise climate initiatives and overseeing the Wells Fargo Institute for Sustainable Finance, which includes climate‑aligned philanthropy, climate advocacy, and support for sustainable finance deployment and accounting. She also will have responsibility for the company’s ESG transparency and disclosure initiatives.

Cisco was recently , through which service members spend the last six months of their active duty gaining skills at a private-sector company. Cisco expects to welcome at least 20 SkillBridge fellows per quarter. This is just one of many programs that Cisco offers to help U.S. service members and their spouses find jobs in the IT industry.
Dominion Energy is offering eligible residential electric customers . Through the program, customers can dispose of their old, unwanted refrigerators and freezers, and receive $75 cashback by calling or submitting an online request and scheduling a pickup. The rebate is an increase from the program's regular $50 cashback. The disposal is a partnership with the EPA's Responsible Appliance Disposal program.
DTE Energy has partnered with Lyft to . The partnership will incentivize drivers in DTE’s electric service territory, Southeast Michigan, who purchase or lease an electric vehicle (EV) for use on the Lyft network. Administered through DTE’s Charging Forward program, this partnership provides equitable access of EVs to all in the region. DTE is investing more than $1 billion annually to improve electric reliability and to help build the grid of the future with increased capacity for growing EV adoption.
Export Development Canada has released a to enable greater support for initiatives that create a more equitable and sustainable world. Now, in addition to green bonds, EDC will issue sustainable, social and transition bonds. EDC has been issuing green bonds since 2014 and was the first Canadian financial institution to do so. Funds raised by those green bonds have financed nearly 30 transactions worth more than $2 billion in a range of sectors, each contributing to environmental protection or the mitigation of climate change.
Nielsen CEO renewed the company’s commitment to the LEAD (Leading Executives Advancing Diversity) Network CEO Pledge to , in celebration of International Women’s Day. “Every decision we make to develop great products, grow our company and our people requires diverse voices to be in the room,” said Kenny. “I’m proud to have increased the representation of women in leadership since our initial pledge, but we cannot stop—we have to keep up the work to ensure that women feel that they can advance their careers at Nielsen.”
