New York passes new data security laws
REGULATORY RADAR - New York鈥檚 Governor Cuomo has signed a new data breach notification and cybersecurity law that expands the definition of a data breach, as well as extends the applicability of data breach laws to any business doing business in New York or that own/license information of a resident of New York.
