Profile

Carol Connolly, Ph.D., RN, ACNP-Ï㽶Ðã, is an associate professor of the practice at the Connell School of Nursing. Her academic experience before joining Boston College spans several years as both a full-time and part-time faculty member, giving her the opportunity to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels. She has been an acute care nurse practitioner for 20 years, with a focus on cardiology and hospital-based medicine. 

Dr. Connolly holds a B.S.N. from the Catholic University of America in Washington, DC, a Master of Science degree from Northeastern University, and a Ph.D. from the University of Massachusetts Boston. Her area of research focuses on hypertension and the barriers and facilitators to diagnosis and treatment, particularly as they relate to age.
