Raymond Gasser, D.N.P., M.S., PMHNP-Ï㽶Ðã, RN, is an assistant professor of the practice at the Connell School of Nursing. Dr. Gasser earned a D.N.P. at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, with dual concentrations in family nursing practice and psychiatric and mental health nursing practice. He completed his undergraduate nursing education at the University of Massachusetts in Boston. Dr. Gasser also received master's and bachelor's degrees in computer science from Louisiana Tech University. His clinical background is in emergency, inpatient psychiatry, and cardiac nursing. His research interests include trauma-informed care among adolescent and young adult survivors as well as data visualization and technology in nursing. Dr. Gasser teaches population health nursing theory and health information technology.ÌýHe is a member of Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing, American Psychiatric Nurses Association, and Upsilon Pi Epsilon International Honor Society for Computing.Ìý
