Our faculty are leading researchers and scholars in an array of subject areas, contributing regularly to national and international conversations around issues like childhood trauma, productive aging, and global migration.
Our innovative research centers, programs, and labs encourage faculty and students to analyze emerging trends and use their findings to propose solutions and inform future studies. In 2021, we provided 51 paid graduate research positions.
We’re the only social work school in New England with its own library—connecting you to 20,000 books, a robust collection of e-books, major journals, and databases, as well as four dedicated research librarians.Ìý

In 2020–21, we hosted more than 51 trainings, learning communities, and special events focused on equity, justice, and inclusion, with more than 1,300 of our alumni, students, faculty, and staff in attendance.Ìý
Since 2013, a total of 265 MSW and doctoral students have graduated from our Latinx Leadership Initiative, which trains the next generation of social work leaders to work with the Latinx community on sustainable solutions to complex problems.
